Embark launched in 2015 with a mission to end preventable disease in dogs. An Embark Dog DNA Test enables pet owners to learn about their dog’s breed, ancestry, health, and what diseases a dog may be at risk for in the future – all with a simple cheek swab.

Embark Portal
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, I led the comprehensive redesign of the Embark Pet Parent Portal, transforming it into a more intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly platform. My work involved conducting extensive user research, redesigning the information architecture, and developing detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes. I created a fresh, modern visual design that aligns with Embark's brand identity and implemented responsive design principles.
Additionally, I introduced new features such as personalized pet profiles and interactive health tools. Collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, and product management teams, I ensured the successful implementation of the redesign. Through multiple rounds of user testing and iteration, I continuously improved the portal's functionality and user experience, resulting in increased engagement, higher satisfaction rates, and improved user retention.
